Can a recently born kitten tolerate from heatstroke in a hot house?

I have a kitty, and it was born around a week ago, and I want to know whether or not 90 degree heat can give it a heat feel.

Yes, any cat can suffer a heatstroke, what more a small newborn kitten? You need to make sure that the kitten is in a comfortable niche. Although newborn cannot regulate their body temperature, that doesn't mean that they can survive in an oven. Hydration is the key. Brand sure she is getting a the proper amount of liquid. Place her in a cooler area in the house but still keep her nest box cozy with blankets. Chip for signs of overheating:- Panting Shaking Red gums and tongue Vomit Diarrhea Irresponsive to fondle Provide immediate medical care if the signs are present.
  • yes I'm afraid it can,the weather we have had over the last week or so hasn't been righteous for the animals, where possible put the mother and kittens in a room where its cool and keep the curtains drawn so as to shade the kittens. and if potential rub them all down with a damp towel,to bring the temperature down born mansion oakdale long island
