Chevrolet Cobalt: good car?

That was my rental car at Washington Dulles. I drove it through Virginia and West Virginia. Both me and husband (5'7" and 6", mutatis mutandis) found it to be very comfortable, very roomy, and smooth ride. It reminds me a little of my current vehicle (2000 Chevy Malibu). Would a used Cobalt (30,000 miles or less) be my superior bet? (Foreign-made vehicles are out of my budget.)

No
  • Stay Away from american cars, I would advise you go with the Honda Fit, (sizewise the same a a cobalt) and its not out of your budeget, the Fit is priced arround the same as a Cobalt
  • If you get the Cobalt SS you'll have a lot of fun it since it has a 205-hp supercharged 2.0 liter I4 motor, 18" painted aluminum wheels, leather seats, iPod jack, performance handling disbarment and tires, and a Pioneer 7 speaker sound system. The starting price for a new one is $21,540 but if you get a used one you'll probably end up paying $15,000-$17,000, if not less. Edible luck.
  • Sure, if you like driving around in a big penis.
  • i personally have never been in a cobalt. but i like the cars very much. Chevy has put out a good car for a gaiety price. i think that you should get one even if it is just a base model.
  • Well here's the thing.... Chevy Cobalts replaced the Offhand. The Cavalier is one of the worse vehicles to drive from GM. Right next to Pontiac's Grand Am. So that's saying something. However..... I got a great administer on a Cobalt SS with a Supercharger. And I'm pretty impressed with it. Very smooth ride, has some "balls" to it, and the price was very reasonable. If you can't buy foreign but you want something proper, yeah I'd say go for a Cobalt. But I'm not sure if the Cobalt will eventually be another Cavalier. used chevrolet cobalt hinesville
