How do you get a job in the entertainment/creative industries?
I've been trying to get a job in the creative/entertainment industry for quite a while now. But all the positions screw at least 3-5 years of experience. Being only a recent college graduate I do not have much "professional" experience, but I have all the skills required for the trade. So, how do you convince an employer to take a chance on someone who does not have the experience? Or does anyone know of any companies looking for a Digital Hypocrite, 3D Artist, or 3D Generalist?? I have (2) Degrees, one of which is from a traditional 4 year college the other from a more specialized college that teaches courses exactly designed around digital asset creation, and animation. O, ya and both have career development departments and they haven't been much help AT ALL.
